Photo Walk Workshop

Want to try photography but don't know if you'll like it? Want something creative and fun to do with friends on the weekend?

The Photo Walk Workshop is a free photography class that you can do with your friends and family. Attend the class solo or invite your friends over to watch the opening lecture on a photography tip. After the 20-30 minute lecture where you will learn how to take a better photo we will all walk away from our computers and "walk" to put into practice what we learned. After our 20-30 minute photo walk we will get back together, share our photos and talk about what we learned.

This is a great way to do something creative and different, and you can also get a glimpse of how our classes work to see if you're interested in more.

Workshop Experience

What Will You Get Out Of It?

During our courses we stimulate curiosity for learning and exploring rather than focusing on test scores or grades.

In order to set our students up for a lifetime of creative learning we show them how to take something they know, try it, and to figure out how to improve on it.

The Photo Walk Workshop is an occasional free event that you can attend with your friends and family. We sign onto a zoom meeting and get a brief mobile photography lesson. The lesson is meant to teach you how to take a better photo. After the brief lesson you and those with you will walk away from the zoom meeting and start taking photos, putting into practice what you've learned.

As you "photo walk" with your group you will find ways that your friends and family take their photos and learn from each other. After about 30 minutes we will get back together on zoom and share our photos with each other and share what we learned.
